Volunteers Needed

The model of self-regulation cannot work without the valuable time and expertise of our members. In starting the new year, the College is looking for members who would be interested in the following:

Registration Examination

Each year, the College administers a solid, legally defensible exam that is a requirement for registration in Alberta.  The process that goes into delivering the exam is reliant on your involvement.

We are currently seeking those wanting to act as standard setters and exam assessors.

If you are interested in volunteering (expenses are paid) in the exam process this year, please let the College know – there are positions available for you.  Email Dacia at drichmond@abdenturists.ca for more information and to volunteer!

Entry-to-Practice Program Accreditation

As the College transitions to using Accreditation Canada – EQual for accreditation services, we need the involvement of denturists!  Your expertise is essential to shaping the context of the accreditation process.  At this time, we are asking for anyone interested in participating in this process as an EQual surveyor to contact the College.  In doing this now, we will be ready to go when the process starts.  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Dacia at drichmond@abdenturists.ca.

Standards of Practice

In 2020, the College will be undergoing an extensive and in-depth review of our current Standards of Practice.  In this, we need your expertise.  All members will be asked to participate in a survey of a draft document; however, we may need more intensive participation from members to form an advisory group.
