IPC Project Update

In preparation for our updated Standards of Practice, and in recognition of the collaborative practice within the oral health community, the College is leading the development of joint infection prevention and control guidelines in cooperation with the College of Dental Assistants, College of Dental Technologists of Alberta and the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta.  These guidelines will align with those of the Alberta Dental Association & College.  This project is being developed and validated by College members.  In October, all regulated members from all four Colleges will be asked for their feedback on the draft document through an online survey.  This is the time for denturists, along with their other oral health colleagues, to provide your input stemming from your knowledge and expertise.

You will be notified via email about the survey and it will be available for approximately three weeks for your comments.  Any time spent reviewing the survey and responding may be used towards your Continuing Competence Program requirements.
