CPR Requirement Update

Denturists are reminded that they have to have current CPR certification at the level required by Council in order to renew their practice permit.  This certification must be uploaded to their online College profile.

Over the last year, some CPR providers have stopped putting expiry dates on the certificates.  In the interest of public safety, Council has responded by amending their CPR policy to include the statement below:

If the CPR certification that is acquired, by the regulated member, has no assigned expiry from the course provider, the College requires that the regulated member recertify at least every two years.

This requirement is currently effective.
