CCP Validation 2023

In July, the Registration Committee met in Edmonton to complete the 2023 CCP Validation Process. This validation was for the 2022 registration year. A random sample of 15% of denturists was selected and notified of the upcoming validation of their records. In total, 44 denturists underwent the validation.

The committee found that, overall, CCP records were complete. One denturist required follow-up and further work. This occurred quickly and that denturist has no further reporting.

The committee would like to remind denturists that:

• Self-reflections do not have to be lengthy, but they do have to clearly explain how what you learned impacted your practice/work.
• If you have a certificate to upload for a record, please make sure it has your name on it and the date of the learning.
• If they have any questions, to call the College for assistance.
