Alternate Registration Pathway for Dental Techs

In September 2021, the Registrar/Executive Director of the College of Registered Dental Technologists spoke with Council about their College’s initiative to enforce mandatory registration of dental technologists in Alberta.  At present, there are many persons working in the profession of dental technology, in Alberta, who did not receive formal training in dental technology.  As a result, they are not registered with the CDTA.

We are pleased to announce that CDTA has developed an alternate registration pathway for these individuals to become registered with the CDTA. CDTA has now shared this work with the College.
