It’s hard to believe that summer has officially ended and before we know it, the holiday season will be upon us. In between all those happenings, we can’t forget that we have the professional responsibility to ensure that our Continuing Competence Program (CCP) activities have been entered into our College profile.
Remember, each year you are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of learning. If you are at the end of your five-year CCP cycle, double check to make sure you have at least 100 hours of continuing education recorded. Of those 100 hours of learning, 10 may be of a personal nature.
If you have any questions about these legislated requirements or are wondering if something will count towards your CCP, please feel free to contact the College.
New for 2020
Please be aware that the CCP is changing for 2020! Although the parts of the program that are ingrained in the Denturists Profession Regulation cannot change (that would be breaking the law), the College has simplified your program so that you can spend more time learning and less hassle recording it. You will see a bit of this with the new registration system this fall where you enter information into your profile, but all the details will be delivered to your inbox later this year.
