New Look College

To go along with our new branding and new outlook, the College is launching a new website and registration system.  You will hopefully find these two interfaces updated, modern and intuitive for both your use and your patients’.

Website

On the website, you will find that most information that is applicable to members is public-facing. Trends in regulation are for Colleges to be more transparent not only with their members but with the public as well.  It’s important, and legislated in some instances, for the public to understand the registration, competence and complaints processes of a College. It is also important for them to understand how the College works and why it exists.

Because a lot of content has been moved to the public side, the member portal is more streamlined and intuitive, making it easier for you to find things and provide the College with updated information such as an address or employer change or to update and upload your CPR certification information.  I encourage you to explore the new website over the next couple of weeks so that you are familiar with it when it comes time for renewal.

Registrant login

On the website home page, you will see the registrant login icon. The first thing you will have to do when you try to log in, is to reset your password. Start logging into your member profile by clicking on the Forgot Password functionality – it will ask you for your email address. This will send you an email and lead you through the process. Check your junk mail – if this email goes there, be sure to set your email to receive College emails in your inbox!  Please know that the College is required to have your personal email address as your primary email. This ensures that messaging from the College reaches you and doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of a busy business day.  Please ensure that you update this on your profile if it isn’t already.

You will immediately see that this new system is clean and easy to navigate. This new system, although accessible by you through your portal, will benefit the College office, increasing efficiency and standardizing record keeping.  This will in turn benefit you, the member, and the public.

As we all learn this new system, there are bound to be a few hiccups. Please be patient with us as we work through them and fix them for you so that things work correctly the next time.  Should you have any questions or can’t quite find something, please do not hesitate to contact the College.
