Council Selection and Selection Committee

With an upcoming Council vacancy for a regulated member, the College Selection Committee is announcing the start of the application process for a new Council member.

At this time, Council is asking for people who are interested in:

1. being on Council, and
2. assisting with the selection process as a member of the Selection Committee.

Interested in being on Council?

If you are interested in being involved with the College from a governance perspective, please consider putting your name forward. Council terms are three years each and a Council member may serve up to two consecutive terms as a voting member. Council members receive compensation for their time, travel, and your time on Council can be used towards your Continuing Competence Program (CCP).

After a few years, Council has tweaked the application process for denturists.

At this time, we are asking that those interested submit the form that can be found on the website at this link: Letter of Expression

Please submit completed forms to drichmond@abdenturists.ca by August 1, 2024.

You will be contacted for next steps in the process.

Interested in helping on the Selection Committee?

The Selection Committee is composed of Council members and a denturist on the College’s general register. The committee usually meets 2-3 times over a couple months, in the fall, via Zoom. Time spent on the committee is remunerated and it may be counted towards CCP.
