Program Information

Participation in the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) is a mandatory aspect of registration for regulated members on the general register.  Members must maintain compliance with the program, and are asked to attest to this, in order to renew their practice permit for the upcoming year.

As per the legislation, members are required to complete 100 hours of continuing education over their five-year program cycle.  Ten of these hours may be for personal benefit only with no relevance to the practice of denturism.  All activities must be recorded in the member portal of the College’s website.

All members are encouraged to read the CCP Guide that became effective March 31, 2023.

Members are required to keep all CCP records through the member portal of the College’s website.

In response to the shift of CCP ownership, the College will check a selection of members to ensure that they are appropriately declaring CCP compliance at renewal.  This will be done through an annual CCP validation process.
