Participation in the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) is a mandatory aspect of registration for regulated members on the general register. Members must maintain compliance with the program, and are asked to attest to this, in order to renew their practice permit for the upcoming year.
To ensure compliance and do due diligence, the College will institute an annual CCP validation process which will validate a representative sample of the regulated membership for compliance with the program.
Members may be selected for validation through two avenues:
- Random selection through the College’s registration system, or
- Directed, with due cause, by the Registrar, Registration Committee, Complaints Director or Hearing Tribunal.
