This information is current as of December 20, 2021 – please ensure to reference updated information as these requirements are changing frequently. Additionally, please note that these restrictions are in place from the Government of Canada and NOT the College of Alberta Denturists. It’s being shared for your information only.
As of December 15, 2021, the Government of Canada (GOC) has issued a COVID-19 Global Travel Advisory (Travel Advice and Advisories – Travel.gc.ca) that states … “avoid non-essential travel outside of Canada due to the risk of the Omicron variant that causes COVID-19”.
Additionally – on the GOC Travel Advice webpage, you’ll find a list of specific countries that have additional and more complex advisories/restrictions or warnings in place. Please ensure if you do decide that your travel is essential and choose to leave the country that you’ve looked at all available public health data and exit/entry requirements back to Canada (including any isolation requirements that you must follow).
