IPC Recognition Program

Accreditation Canada is an independent, nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization, dedicated to inspiring positive change that helps improve the quality of health and social services in Canada and around the world.

With over 60 years of experience supporting healthcare and social services organizations, Accreditation Canada delivers a wide range of high-impact assessment and recognition programs, powered by their affiliate Health Standards Organization (HSO) and customized to meet specific needs.

In response to a growing need, HSO and their affiliate Accreditation Canada have co-designed a new Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Recognition program to guide program participants along their quality improvement journey to sustainable IPC practices. This complements existing IPC guidelines in all health and social settings, focusing on long term learnings and continuous improvement to drive sustainable IPC outcomes.

The content was developed from existing HSO IPC standards amongst IPAC Canadian experts such as Infection Prevention and Control Canada, Public Health Agency of Canada and other IPC experts. The content was then integrated into Accreditation Canada’s new recognition program that is now available to the public.

Please note that the College does not require that denturists participate in this program. This information is provided for your information.
