Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics

Council is very pleased to announce that they have approved a new Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for the profession. These documents both come into effect on January 1, 2022.

These pillars of regulation are being rolled out together and they speak to the same topics and were created under the same legislative amendments. Please become familiar with these to integrate into your practice.

With the implementation of the new Standards of Practice, the existing IPC and Recordkeeping Standards will become College Guidelines until new Guidelines are in place.

Bylaws

Please know that Council also approved amendments to the Bylaws. This is the first in a series of amendments responding to changes necessitated by recent legislative amendments. These are in effect now and may be found, on our website, here: Bylaws

Council has approved a process for denturists and members of the public to apply to observe Council meetings.  Information is available on our website here: Council
